Old Wharf Rating: Openwater Depth: 5-12m Dive Type: Shore Whats to see: Crayfish, stingray, big Moki and interesting terrain. Great snorkelling spot.	Octopus Garden Rating: Openwater Depth: 5-8m Dive Type: Shore Whats to see: Kelp forests, macro life, huge variety of fish, heaps of octopus and occasional sting rays.
Baxters Reef Rating: Openwater Depth: 5-14m Dive Type: Shore Whats to see: Very colourful dive with heavy kelp in close and Sea Tulips and anemones everywhere	South Bay Rating: Openwater Depth: 5-12m Dive Type: Shore Whats to see: Spearfishing, Crayfish and also great photography spot. Lots of fish species including Kahawai, Blue Cod and Wrasse.	Barney's Rock Rating: Openwater/Advanced Depth: 5-20m Dive Type: Shore/Boat Whats to see: One of the best dives inside the Hikurangi Marine Reserve. Full of life including playful seals and big schools of fish. Huge crayfish. Please note, Barneys Rock requires a large surface swim and difficult entry (it's worth it!). Reasonable level of fitness is a must.
