Barney's Rock

Rating: Openwater/Advanced Depth: 5-20m Dive Type: Shore/Boat Whats to see: One of the best dives inside the Hikurangi Marine Reserve. Full of life including playful seals and big schools of fish. Huge crayfish. Please note, Barneys Rock requires a large surface swim and difficult entry (it's worth it!). Reasonable level of fitness is a must.
